Pianist, speaker, producer, host, entrepreneur, and cultural leader Yana Reznik’s passionate performances and compelling storytelling have captivated  the hearts of thousands of concertgoers on her many tours across the United States. Known as the “Pianist with a Voice,” Yana breaks with tradition by creating innovative programs that bring the beauty of classical music to wider and more diverse audiences. In January 2015 Yana launched “Playful Talk” show at PianoForte Studios. As a founder, producer, pianist and host, Yana collaborates with the members of Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera Orchestra, Ars Viva Orchestra, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Ensemble Dal Niente, Kontras Quartet and New Millennium Orchestra.

Born in Moscow, Ms. Reznik holds a bachelor of music degree from the Manhattan School of Music, a master of music degree from the University of Southern California, and a professional studies certificate from the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where she was under the tutelage of Phillip Kawin and John Perry. She has also studied at the Rachmaninoff School of Music in Moscow with Raisa Bekerman, the Interlochen Arts Academy with Stephen Perry, and Chapman University with Joseph Matthews.

Pianist of the Bloomington Trio, Ilya Friedberg has been described as an “Artist who puts his listener to a musical magic”  by pianist Menahem Pressler. Ilya’s music has taken him to Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Jerusalem Theater, Small Philharmonic Hall of St. Petersburg, and various venues across United States, South America, Israel, and Europe.

Ilya is a passionate chamber musician and is a sought-after collaborator among the members of Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Carol Vaness, Timothy Noble, Mark Kaplan, Alissa Margulis, Alexander Buzlov, and Pacifica Quartet, who described him as an “Exceptional chamber musician.” Ilya is a student of Menahem Pressler and has been his assistant for the past three years at Indiana University.
